Node.js Developer Needed for Service Layer Rewrite

About the role

We are launching an integration project that ties together our billing system, CRM, and several internal APIs. The Node.js Developer will design and implement the middleware layer that ensures data flows reliably and securely across these services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and code Node.js services to connect billing, CRM, and internal APIs
• Write clean, modular JavaScript using Express and modern ES features
• Create and document RESTful endpoints for data exchange
• Implement error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to define integration requirements

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in NodeJS and Express framework
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and async programming
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Understanding of authentication methods (OAuth, API keys)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with billing platforms or CRM systems
• Knowledge of Docker or containerized deployment
