Node.js Developer – End-to-End Domain Modeling

About the role

CloudWave Digital is building a seamless integration layer called SyncBridge to connect its billing platform, CRM, and internal services. As a Node.js Developer you will design and deliver the core API glue that enables real‑time data flow across these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement the SyncBridge microservice using Node.js 18 and Express.
• Develop RESTful endpoints that pull billing data from Stripe, push leads to HubSpot CRM, and synchronize with internal order APIs.
• Write integration tests with Jest and SuperTest to guarantee 95% coverage before each sprint.
• Configure CI pipelines in GitHub Actions for automated linting, testing, and Docker image builds.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy the service to AWS Fargate with environment‑specific secrets.
• Monitor performance using New Relic and implement rate‑limiting to protect downstream systems.

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in Node.js and Express framework.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming experience.
• Hands‑on with MongoDB for caching and lightweight data storage.
• Design and consume REST APIs, including authentication (OAuth2/JWT).
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Stripe and HubSpot API integrations.
• Knowledge of AWS Fargate or ECS deployment patterns.
