Java Developer for Legacy System Migration

About the role

NexGen Media is expanding its digital content platform and needs a Java Developer to design and enhance backend services. You will work closely with product owners to deliver high‑performance APIs that support rapid media delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot
• Design RESTful APIs and integrate with third‑party services
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure code quality
• Collaborate with front‑end and DevOps teams for seamless releases

Must-have skills

• Strong Java programming experience (3+ years)
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and building microservices
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and relational databases

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
