DevOps Engineer Needed for GitOps Rollout

About the role

Orbit Labs is launching a sprint to tighten CI/CD pipelines and automate platform tasks for faster releases. You will own the design and implementation of end‑to‑end automation, ensuring reliability and speed across our cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Containerize services and manage Kubernetes clusters for seamless deployments
• Develop IaC scripts (Terraform/CloudFormation) to provision AWS resources
• Set up monitoring and alerting for pipeline health and performance
• Collaborate with developers to embed security and testing into the release process

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
• Deep knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure automation
• Hands‑on scripting (Bash, Python) for pipeline tasks
• Understanding of Git workflows and version control best practices

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
• Background in security scanning integration (SAST/DAST)
