DevOps Engineer – Multi-Region Cloud Migration

About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a proactive DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and verify hardening controls across our AWS environments while maintaining CI/CD flow.

Key responsibilities

• Audit current infrastructure and identify security gaps in container orchestration and serverless services.
• Develop automated remediation scripts using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Integrate vulnerability scanning into CI pipelines and enforce policy as code.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security best practices into Docker images and Kubernetes manifests.
• Document hardening procedures and provide knowledge transfer to the internal ops team.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, Config).
• Hands‑on expertise in Docker and Kubernetes hardening.
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (PCI‑DSS, ISO 27001).
• Experience with secret management tools such as HashiCorp Vault.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code testing tools (Terratest, Checkov).
