About the role

CoreData Systems is launching a critical security assessment for a new platform. We need a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to identify vulnerabilities, evaluate risk, and recommend mitigation strategies. The role is short‑term, focused on delivering actionable insights to harden the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing and vulnerability scans on web and network assets
• Analyze findings, prioritize threats, and document remediation steps
• Collaborate with developers to integrate security controls
• Produce clear reports for technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
• Hands‑on experience with Python scripting for automation
• Proficiency in Linux environments and command‑line tools
• Ability to interpret scan results and advise on fixes

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of SIEM and log analysis
