AWS Cloud Engineer – Cloud Migration

About the role

NexGen Media is expanding its cloud infrastructure for a high‑traffic streaming platform. We need a Freelance AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize scalable services on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure VPCs, IAM policies, and networking components.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Docker and AWS Code services.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure high availability.
• Document infrastructure as code and best‑practice guidelines.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Solid DevOps mindset with automation and scripting skills.
• Hands‑on Linux system administration.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes experience.
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus.
