About the role

TechFlow Inc is preparing a coordinated mobile and backend launch for a new app store release. We need an Android Developer to bridge UI work with server APIs, ensuring a smooth user experience and reliable data sync.

Key responsibilities

• Implement feature‑rich screens in Kotlin and Java, following modern Android architecture.
• Integrate RESTful backend services, handling authentication, caching, and error recovery.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and data models.
• Write unit and UI tests, maintain CI pipelines, and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android.
• Experience with Android Jetpack components, MVVM, and Coroutines.
• Solid understanding of REST API integration and JSON parsing.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing frameworks.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of modern backend languages (e.g., Node.js, Go) for better cross‑team communication.
• Experience with Firebase or cloud services for push notifications.
• Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform or Compose UI.
