host a weekly business podcast where I interview entrepreneurs and share marketing tips. I need a Podcast Editor to clean up audio, add intro/outro music, and prepare episodes for publishing. This is consistent weekly work perfect for someone with basic audio editing skills looking for reliable income.
Responsibilities:
Edit 1 podcast episode per week (30-45 minutes of audio)
Remove filler words (umms, ahs) and long pauses
Add intro music and outro music
Balance audio levels between host and guests
Remove background noise and improve sound quality
Add sponsor ad reads in designated spots (if applicable)
Export final episode in MP3 format
Write basic show notes from episode content
Upload episode to podcast hosting platform (Buzzsprout)
Required Skills:
Experience with audio editing software (Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar)
Basic understanding of audio levels and quality
Attention to detail for clean edits
Ability to follow editing guidelines
Good time management for weekly deadlines
Comfortable with file management and organization
