Senior Three.js / React Three Fiber Developer for 3D Product Configurators

We build 15–25 high-end 3D product configurators per year for luxury fashion, furniture, automotive, jewelry, and sneaker brands (think Nike By You or Gucci virtual try-on level). All built with Three.js / React Three Fiber + GSAP + Spline/Blender assets.

We are looking for a true 3D web wizard who can own 4–8 configurators: photorealistic rendering, real-time customization (colors, materials, engravings, animations), mobile optimization, AR/VR ready, and 60fps performance.

You will be the 3D technical lead for brands spending $50k–$500k+ per project.

Responsibilities

Full 3D configurator builds from Figma/Blender assets

React Three Fiber + Drei + Three.js mastery

Real-time material/color/texture swapping

Lighting, shadows, PBR materials, environment maps

Drag-to-rotate, pinch-zoom, hotspot interactions

Custom UI controls + GSAP animations

Performance optimization (instancing, LOD, DRACO compression)

Mobile + desktop 60fps

Integration with Shopify/Webflow backend

AR/VR export ready (WebXR)

Required Skills

Expert React Three Fiber + Three.js (3+ years, 10+ live projects)

Photorealistic 3D on web (PBR, HDR, post-processing)

Blender → GLTF/GLB optimization pipeline

GSAP + ScrollTrigger for 3D scroll experiences

Proven 3D configurators live on high-traffic sites

Nice to Have

Located in Philippines, Pakistan, India, LATAM, or Eastern Europe (4–6 hrs overlap with US time zones)

Experience with luxury/fashion/jewelry brands

Previously built configurators for $1M+ e-commerce stores

Familiar with Spline, Babylon.js, or PlayCanvas

Weekly Commitment

25–35 hours per week (flexible, project-driven)

Payment Structure

Standard – $3,000/month (25 hrs/week, 4 projects)

Senior – $4,100/month (30 hrs/week, 6–8 projects + AR)

Lead – $5,200/month (35 hrs/week, full architecture + performance + strategy)

Paid on the 1st and 15th via Wise or PayPal.
