About the role

NexGen Media is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a meticulous QA Software Tester to design and execute tests that validate security controls, performance thresholds, and regression stability across multiple services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites targeting OWASP‑top‑10 vulnerabilities.
• Execute manual penetration‑testing scenarios to verify hardening measures.
• Collaborate with developers and cloud engineers to reproduce defects and recommend fixes.
• Track test results, produce concise defect reports, and ensure timely closure.
• Continuously improve test frameworks for scalability in a CI/CD pipeline.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience in QA testing for cloud‑based applications.
• Strong knowledge of security testing methodologies.
• Hands‑on expertise with Selenium and test automation scripting.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS security services.
• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Certification in security testing (e.g., OSSTMM, CEH).
