About the role

LumenWorks is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay live 24/7. We need a Microservices Architect to design a zero‑downtime migration path and guide the team through implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Define a microservices decomposition strategy aligned with zero‑downtime goals
• Design API contracts, data synchronization, and fallback mechanisms
• Create deployment pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes for seamless roll‑outs
• Mentor developers on best practices for resilient service design
• Collaborate with ops to ensure observability and automated health checks

Must-have skills

• Proven experience architecting microservices at scale
• Deep knowledge of Docker containerization
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes orchestration
• Solid Java development background

Nice to have

• Experience with legacy system refactoring
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures
• Knowledge of CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
