As a PHP Developer at NexGen Technologies, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale web applications using PHP, Laravel, and MySQL. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale web applications using PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
• Collaborate with our team of designers, developers, and project managers to ensure that our web applications are of the highest quality and meet client requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure that all solutions are properly tested, and identify areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, provide technical support, and optimize application performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in PHP development.
• Contribute to the development of our company's technical strategy and direction.
• Work closely with our project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior developers.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Ensure that all web applications are secure, scalable, and compliant with industry standards.
• Collaborate with our team of QA testers to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and API documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with our company's policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on Laravel and MySQL.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and MySQL, including PHP 7.x, Laravel 8.x, and MySQL 8.x.
• Experience with front-end development technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of database design, development, and optimization, including database modeling, normalization, and indexing.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong team player, with a willingness to collaborate, mentor, and support junior developers.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong knowledge of coding standards, best practices, and design patterns.
