Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents, websites, and marketing materials from one language to another, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance.
• Review and edit translations to ensure high-quality output, adhering to client specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to discuss project requirements, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Participate in quality assurance processes, including proofreading, editing, and testing to ensure that translations meet the highest standards of quality.
• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, linguistic developments, and cultural nuances, applying this knowledge to improve translation quality and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain glossaries, style guides, and terminology databases to ensure consistency and accuracy across translations.
• Work with other linguists, project managers, and quality assurance specialists to share knowledge, best practices, and expertise, contributing to the company's knowledge base and continuous improvement.
• Utilize translation tools, software, and technologies, such as CAT tools, to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance translation quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field, with a strong foundation in language, culture, and translation principles.
• Proven experience in translation, localization, or a related field, with a portfolio of translated works demonstrating accuracy, quality, and cultural relevance.
• Native-level proficiency in one or more languages, with excellent writing, reading, and communication skills in the target language.
• Strong understanding of linguistic, cultural, and technical aspects of translation, including terminology, syntax, and semantics.
• Familiarity with translation tools, software, and technologies, such as CAT tools, translation memory, and terminology management systems.
