About the role

BlueSky Ventures is building a next‑generation cloud platform that must meet the highest security standards. As a Cloud Security Architect you will design, implement, and validate security controls across multi‑cloud environments to protect critical data and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce cloud security architecture guidelines for AWS and hybrid workloads.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing services.
• Design secure network segmentation, identity, and access management policies.
• Implement automated security testing and compliance checks in CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date security documentation and incident response playbooks.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, etc.).
• Strong background in cloud architecture and secure design patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in DevSecOps tooling and automation.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
