About the role

Orbit Labs is creating a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a Frontend React Developer to craft intuitive, high‑performance interfaces that surface real‑time insights and allow seamless interaction with backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive React components for dashboards and data visualizations.
• Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs to fetch and display operational metrics.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure UI reflects pipeline state and error handling.
• Optimize performance for large data sets and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience building data‑driven UI with charts or tables.
• Understanding of asynchronous data fetching and state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
• Ability to translate UI/UX designs into clean, reusable code.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as D3 or Recharts.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
