Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced photo editing techniques to retouch and enhance images for various clients and projects, ensuring the highest level of quality and aesthetic appeal.
• Collaborate with the design and photography teams to understand project requirements and vision, providing expert input on image retouching and editing.
• Work efficiently with Adobe Photoshop and other related software to achieve desired visual effects, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in photo editing.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results under pressure.
• Conduct quality control checks on all edited images to ensure they meet the company's standards and client expectations.
• Develop and maintain a keen understanding of the company's brand identity and visual style, applying this knowledge to enhance images appropriately.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to share ideas, provide feedback, and contribute to the creative process.
• Maintain organization and version control of all image files, ensuring easy access and retrieval of project assets.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in photo retouching and editing, applying this knowledge to continuously improve skills and workflows.
• Collaborate with junior team members to mentor and guide them in their professional development, sharing expertise and providing constructive feedback.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and deliver final products that meet or exceed their expectations.
• Contribute to the development of style guides and best practices for photo retouching and editing within the company, promoting consistency and excellence across all projects.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in photo retouching and editing, preferably in a fast-paced studio or agency environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications, with a deep understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in photo retouching, editing, and enhancement, showcasing a keen eye for detail and aesthetic sensibility.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, photographers, and clients to achieve project goals.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining the highest level of quality and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual design principles, applying this knowledge to enhance and retouch images effectively.
• Experience with project management tools and version control systems, ensuring efficient workflow and collaboration with team members.
• Certification in Adobe Photoshop or related graphic design software is an asset, though not required.
• A degree in Graphic Design, Photography, or a related field is preferred, but not necessary for candidates with significant relevant experience.
