We are seeking an experienced QA Tester to join our team for comprehensive testing of web and mobile applications. This is a remote, fixed/project-based position ideal for mid-level professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking systems
- Conduct API testing and validate backend functionality
- Test mobile applications across different devices and operating systems (iOS and Android)
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality standards
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing
- Create detailed test documentation and reports
- Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups
- Provide feedback on usability and user experience
Required Skills & Technologies:
- 3+ years of experience in QA testing for web and mobile applications
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
- Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
- Experience with mobile testing on iOS and Android platforms
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Appium, Cypress)
- Knowledge of performance testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- ISTQB certification is a plus
Compensation: $25-$55/hour (based on experience)
