Senior Platform Engineer Needed for GitOps Rollout

About the role

Summit Digital is expanding its multi‑tenant B2B platform with a new tenant isolation layer called "Nimbus Core". As a Platform Engineer you will drive the design, implementation, and rollout of this feature, ensuring seamless onboarding of new customers while maintaining existing service stability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision AWS VPCs, subnets, and IAM roles for isolated tenant environments using Terraform.
• Build CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions to automate deployment of containerized services for each tenant.
• Containerize legacy micro‑services with Docker and orchestrate them on an existing EKS cluster, adding tenant‑specific namespaces.
• Implement monitoring and alerting in Prometheus/Grafana for per‑tenant performance metrics.
• Collaborate with product owners to define rollout milestones and perform blue‑green releases for the Nimbus Core module.
• Document infrastructure patterns and hand‑off runbooks to the SRE team.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Advanced Terraform scripting and module development.
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) in production.
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for multi‑tenant networking issues.

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio.
• Familiarity with cost‑optimization tools for multi‑tenant clouds.
