About the role

Ridgeline Software is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need an iOS App Developer to redesign core modules, improve launch times, and ensure stable network interactions across all supported devices.

Key responsibilities

• Profile and refactor existing Swift code to meet latency targets
• Implement robust error handling and retry logic for REST API calls
• Integrate performance monitoring tools and analyze telemetry data
• Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize data payloads
• Write unit and UI tests to guarantee regression‑free releases

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of iOS development with Swift
• Deep understanding of iOS lifecycle, memory management, and concurrency
• Extensive experience consuming and optimizing REST APIs
• Proven track record of improving app performance and reliability

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Combine or RxSwift
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS
• Knowledge of SwiftUI alongside UIKit
