About the role

Summit Digital is modernizing a legacy production platform with a zero‑downtime mandate. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, implement, and fine‑tune container orchestration that keeps services live during migration.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a blue‑green deployment strategy using Docker and Kubernetes
• Refactor legacy services into cloud‑native containers
• Implement health checks, auto‑scaling, and rolling updates
• Collaborate with developers to resolve environment‑specific issues
• Document runbooks and monitoring setups for ongoing operations

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with Docker image creation and registry management
• Advanced Kubernetes administration (clusters, Helm, CI/CD integration)
• Proven track record of zero‑downtime migrations in production

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh (Istio or Linkerd)
• Familiarity with Prometheus/Grafana monitoring
• Knowledge of Terraform or other IaC tools
