About the role

CloudWave Digital is launching a new SaaS product that requires a solid backend foundation. We are looking for a PHP Developer to design, develop, and integrate core services that power the platform. The role is short‑term, focused on delivering key features and ensuring code quality.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable PHP code using Laravel framework
• Design and optimize MySQL database schemas and queries
• Implement RESTful APIs for front‑end consumption
• Collaborate with UI/UX and QA teams to define requirements and test outcomes
• Perform code reviews and contribute to best‑practice documentation

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of professional PHP development
• Strong experience with Laravel and MVC architecture
• Proficiency in MySQL database design and optimization
• Understanding of REST API principles and security

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of front‑end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
