Node.js Developer for Backend API Build Delivery

About the role

We are preparing a new app store launch that requires tight integration between the mobile front‑end and backend services. The Node.js Developer will ensure the APIs support real‑time data sync and scalable performance for the upcoming release.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to define data contracts and error handling
• Optimize server performance for high‑traffic bursts during launch
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability
• Maintain clear documentation of endpoints and versioning

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Proficient JavaScript coding and ES6+ features
• Designing and consuming REST APIs
• Understanding of mobile‑backend synchronization patterns

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Node.js
• Knowledge of WebSockets or real‑time communication
