About the role

Northbay Systems seeks an iOS App Developer to build a data pipeline and analytics enablement for operations teams. You will craft native iOS components that ingest, transform, and visualize operational data in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Swift modules that pull data from REST APIs and feed analytics dashboards
• Integrate Core Data and Combine to ensure reliable data flow on device
• Collaborate with data engineers to define schema and validation rules
• Write unit and UI tests to guarantee data integrity and performance
• Document code and handoff procedures for future maintenance

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS SDK
• Hands‑on experience building REST API clients
• Understanding of data pipelines, background processing, and analytics visualization
• Ability to work independently and meet sprint deadlines

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Combine or RxSwift
• Experience with SwiftUI for dashboard UI
• Knowledge of cloud data services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
