$4,800.00 Fixed
We are looking for an experienced Senior Shopify Developer to build, customize, and optimize a high-performance Shopify store. The ideal candidate must have advanced knowledge of Liquid, Shopify Online Store 2.0 architecture, custom theme development, app integrations, API usage, metafields, and conversion-focused UI/UX implementation.
You will be responsible for customizing existing themes, creating new sections and templates, building dynamic product pages, optimizing collections, and ensuring full compatibility across desktop and mobile devices. You should be able to convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect Liquid templates using best coding practices, semantic HTML, and maintainable CSS structures.
Your responsibilities include integrating and configuring key Shopify apps such as review systems, subscription apps, upsell/cross-sell plugins, search tools, analytics trackers, and email marketing integrations. You will handle theme bugs, app conflicts, console errors, and ensure that all third-party integrations perform smoothly without slowing down the store.
A critical part of the role includes implementing SEO best practices, optimizing product data, adding structured data, improving site speed, optimizing images, minimizing Liquid loops, reducing render-blocking resources, and improving Core Web Vitals. You will also manage redirects, URL structures, sitemap optimizations, and metadata consistency.
You will set up advanced metafields, dynamic sources, custom blocks, and JSON templates for flexible content management. Experience with Shopify’s new Checkout Extensibility, Functions API, Carts, and Hydrogen (optional) is a strong advantage.
Backend responsibilities include configuring payment gateways, shipping rules, taxes, checkout settings, custom forms, and handling localization or multi-language requirements. You must also implement tracking systems including GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and custom event triggers with proper testing and validation.
Security and stability are essential. You must write secure Liquid code, maintain API token safety, validate customer-facing forms, protect sensitive user actions, and ensure compliance with Shopify security standards.
You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, digital marketers, and backend teams to create a conversion-focused Shopify environment that delivers high performance and maximum sales. Strong debugging skills, documentation habits, and version control using Git are required.
Candidates with experience in high-traffic Shopify stores, custom app development, or deep theme architecture understanding will be given priority. Applicants must share previous Shopify work, custom theme samples, or GitHub repositories showcasing advanced Shopify development skills.
