Your role as a WordPress Expert will involve working on a variety of projects, from designing and developing new websites to maintaining and updating existing ones. You will work closely with our design team to translate designs into functional and attractive web pages, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive design. Additionally, you will collaborate with our project management team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the high standards of quality we strive for at Zenith Innovations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly websites using WordPress, ensuring they are optimized for search engines and provide an exceptional user experience.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate design concepts into functional web pages, utilizing HTML, CSS, and Javascript to bring designs to life.
• Work closely with the project management team to understand project requirements, develop project plans, and ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project needs, utilizing PHP and WordPress's core functionality to create tailored solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of all web development projects to ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and high performance.
• Provide technical support and maintenance services for existing websites, including updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, readable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development, attending workshops, webinars, and participating in online forums to continually improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on WordPress development, PHP, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly websites, with a portfolio that showcases your expertise and creativity.
• Strong understanding of WordPress core functionality, theme and plugin development, and WordPress best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in using version control systems such as Git, and experience with WordPress optimization techniques.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks and libraries such as Bootstrap, and experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and how to optimize websites for better search engine rankings.
• Experience with WordPress security best practices and common vulnerabilities, with knowledge of how to secure and protect WordPress sites.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
