Senior MLOps Engineer Needed for CI/CD Pipeline Setup

About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. As a Senior MLOps Engineer you will lead the hardening of the "Sentinel Shield" deployment pipeline, ensuring models and data stay secure throughout the CI/CD flow.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Terraform‑based network segmentation for model serving clusters on AWS.
• Integrate Snyk and Trivy scans into the CI pipeline to detect container vulnerabilities before deployment.
• Configure Kubernetes Pod Security Policies and OPA Gatekeeper to enforce least‑privilege access for ML workloads.
• Automate secret management with HashiCorp Vault, rotating API keys for model endpoints every 30 days.
• Set up monitoring dashboards in Grafana to track security metrics and alert on policy violations.
• Deliver a hardening checklist and run a final security audit within the 3‑month contract.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Proficiency in AWS services (EKS, IAM, KMS).
• Strong Python scripting for automation and tooling.
• Hands‑on with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and security scanners.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD best practices in MLOps contexts.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Open Policy Agent (OPA) policies.
• Experience securing large‑scale model registries (MLflow, SageMaker).
