Senior DevOps Engineer Needed for Scalable Container Platform Build

About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a brand‑new SaaS product from scratch. We need a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and automate the end‑to‑end infrastructure that will support rapid iteration and global scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a secure, highly‑available AWS environment for the greenfield service
• Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
• Containerize micro‑services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for early‑stage performance insights
• Collaborate with developers to embed IaC best practices into daily workflows

Must-have skills

• Proven experience designing AWS infrastructure for SaaS products
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Understanding of security hardening and compliance in cloud environments

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with serverless components (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Background in greenfield product launches
