REST API Developer for API Gateway Setup

About the role

We are launching a focused sprint to boost our release velocity through CI/CD and platform automation. As a REST API Developer you will design, implement, and refine services that power our deployment pipelines and internal tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑performance RESTful APIs supporting CI/CD workflows
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes using scripting and containerization
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate APIs into our cloud infrastructure
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability of automation services
• Document API contracts and usage guidelines for cross‑functional teams

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design and queries
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Background in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
