About the role

NexGen Media is launching a new web‑based content platform and needs a QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated test suites. You will work closely with developers to ensure high‑quality releases throughout the short project timeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and JavaScript.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Collaborate with developers to define testable requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Maintain test data and environments for consistent test runs.
• Generate test reports and provide actionable insights to the team.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for test scripting.
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD tools.
• Ability to write clear, concise bug reports.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Knowledge of performance testing concepts.
