Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement microservices-based systems using Java, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Lead the development of our microservices architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, and operations, to drive business growth and deliver high-quality software solutions
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical guides
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring that all code meets our quality and security standards
• Work with our DevOps team to develop and implement automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment pipelines
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in microservices architecture
• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with our business strategy and goals
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to our development teams
• Participate in agile planning, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with our product management team to develop and prioritize our product roadmap
• Develop and maintain metrics, including technical debt, code quality, and system performance
• Ensure compliance with our security, governance, and compliance policies and procedures

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on microservices architecture
• Strong proficiency in Java, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
• Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins, GitLab, and CircleCI
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
• Experience with technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical guides
• Strong understanding of security, governance, and compliance principles and best practices
• Experience with metrics, including technical debt, code quality, and system performance
