Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Node.js applications, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and meet the required specifications.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify project requirements, plan the development process, and allocate tasks effectively.
• Utilize Express and other relevant frameworks to build robust and maintainable server-side applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange between different components of the application.
• Implement data storage solutions using MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines to maintain high-quality code.
• Participate in code reviews to improve the overall quality of the codebase and share knowledge with the team.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify bottlenecks, and optimize the performance of applications to improve user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in Node.js development, applying this knowledge to enhance our products and services.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, ensuring that all aspects of the application are properly documented.
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the delivery of defect-free products.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Apply problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with the team when necessary.
• Maintain open communication with the project manager and other stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and seeking feedback.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Node.js development, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating expertise.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ECMAScript 6+ features, and experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, including design principles and implementation best practices.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, and knowledge of data modeling and schema design.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, including SOLID, DRY, and YAGNI.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
