Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement game features using Unity, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and stable gameplay experiences.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate game design concepts into functional gameplay mechanics, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to the company's coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to the improvement of the codebase and sharing knowledge with the team.
• Work closely with the QA team to identify, reproduce, and fix bugs, ensuring that the game meets the required quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Unity features, technologies, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve game development processes and methodologies.
• Contribute to the development of tools, scripts, and workflows that enhance the efficiency and productivity of the development team.
• Collaborate with artists and designers to ensure that game assets and features are properly integrated and optimized for the best player experience.
• Participate in project planning, providing input on task estimates, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Apply problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues, balancing quality, performance, and project deadlines.
• Maintain open communication with the team, ensuring that project goals, progress, and challenges are clearly understood and addressed.
• Adhere to project management methodologies and tools, contributing to the team's agile development processes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, guides, and tutorials to support the development team and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to post-launch support and updates, ensuring the continuous improvement and enhancement of the game.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in game development using Unity, with a strong portfolio of completed projects or contributions to notable games.
• Proficiency in C# programming language, with excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles and software design patterns.
• Experience with Unity features such as physics, graphics, animation, and UI systems, as well as knowledge of Unity's ecosystem and asset store.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git, and experience with collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative, effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of game development pipelines, including asset creation, implementation, and optimization.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems.
• Education in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience and a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
• Experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS, React, and NodeJS is a plus, as it may be required for specific project tasks or integrations.
