Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical debt, implementing best practices and driving the adoption of new technologies and tools.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
• Implement monitoring and logging tools to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of our software applications with the cloud-based infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation for our cloud-based infrastructure, including architecture diagrams, technical guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
• Participate in the development of our technical strategy, providing input on emerging trends, technologies, and tools.
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure the security and integrity of our cloud-based infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal downtime in the event of an outage.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and tools, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our cloud-based infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, mentoring and coaching them to develop their skills and expertise.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
• Participate in the planning and execution of our technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineering role, with a strong background in cloud-based infrastructure development.
• Strong proficiency in Javascript, HTML, CSS, and NodeJS, with experience in developing and maintaining complex web applications.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of containerization, with experience in using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Experience with automation tools, including Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong understanding of security principles and practices, with experience in implementing secure infrastructure and applications.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
