About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a rapid CI/CD and platform automation sprint to accelerate release cycles. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst who can embed security controls directly into the pipeline and ensure the automation framework remains resilient against threats.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate security testing tools (SAST, DAST, container scanning) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Audit and harden IaC scripts and deployment workflows.
• Monitor platform automation for misconfigurations and compliance drift.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to remediate findings in real time.
• Document security policies for automated release processes.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience securing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with security tooling and scripting.
• Understanding of cloud‑native platforms and container orchestration.

Nice to have

• Experience with threat modeling for automated deployments.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2).
• Knowledge of secure coding practices in Python.
