As a Simple Content Writer at BrightSpark Media, you will be working on a variety of projects, including blog posts, articles, social media content, and website copy. Key Responsibilities
- Research and write high-quality content for various platforms, including blog posts, articles, social media, and website copy
- Conduct interviews with sources, experts, and thought leaders to gather information and insights
- Collaborate with the editorial team to develop content ideas, outlines, and drafts
- Edit and proofread content for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors
- Optimize content for search engines using keyword research and SEO best practices
- Utilize content management systems (CMS) to publish and manage content
- Analyze engagement metrics and adjust content strategy accordingly
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent publishing
- Brainstorm and pitch new content ideas to the team

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in content writing, journalism, or a related field
- Portfolio of published work that demonstrates writing talent and style
- Strong research and interviewing skills, with the ability to gather information and insights from sources
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and grammar
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress or Drupal
- Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research tools
