The project scope for this role involves working on a variety of 3D modeling tasks, including character modeling, environment modeling, and prop modeling. You will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models that meet the project's artistic and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and materials for various projects, including characters, environments, and props.
• Develop and maintain detailed 3D modeling schedules and timelines to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and developers to ensure that 3D models meet project requirements and are integrated seamlessly into the final product.
• Participate in project meetings and discussions to provide input on 3D modeling tasks and ensure that project goals are met.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and software to continuously improve 3D modeling skills and knowledge.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of 3D modeling software, including Maya, 3ds Max, and Blender.
• Create detailed documentation of 3D modeling processes and techniques to share knowledge with team members and improve overall efficiency.
• Provide feedback and guidance to junior team members to help them improve their 3D modeling skills and knowledge.
• Work closely with the art director and other team members to develop and refine 3D modeling style and techniques.
• Participate in peer reviews and critiques to ensure that 3D models meet high standards of quality and consistency.
• Stay organized, manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that 3D models are accurate, consistent, and of high quality.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that 3D models are optimized for use in various applications, including games, simulations, and visualizations.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of project requirements, including technical, artistic, and scheduling aspects.
• Stay flexible and adapt to changes in project scope, schedule, or priorities, and be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in 3D modeling, texturing, and materials creation, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in these areas.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software, including Maya, 3ds Max, and Blender, with a strong understanding of modeling techniques, including polygon modeling, subdivision surface modeling, and NURBS modeling.
• Strong knowledge of UV mapping, texturing, and material creation, with experience in creating complex textures and materials using various software and techniques.
• Excellent understanding of human anatomy, proportion, and movement, with experience in creating realistic character models and animations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a team environment and providing feedback and guidance to junior team members.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in troubleshooting technical issues and finding creative solutions to complex problems.
• Ability to take direction and feedback, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and software.
• Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or MEL, with a strong understanding of automation and workflow optimization.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting project requirements.
