Senior Identity Access Management Specialist for IAM Implementation

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is expanding its security team to strengthen identity governance across its cloud and on‑premise environments. As an Identity Access Management Specialist you will design, implement, and fine‑tune access controls for critical applications and data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce IAM policies, roles, and entitlements aligned with least‑privilege principles.
• Integrate SSO, MFA, and directory services across heterogeneous platforms.
• Conduct access reviews, certifications, and remediation of orphaned accounts.
• Automate provisioning and de‑provisioning workflows using scripting and APIs.
• Collaborate with security operations to monitor and respond to anomalous access events.
• Document architecture, procedures, and compliance evidence.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with IAM solutions (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, IAMaaS).
• Strong knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their identity services.
• Experience with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with privileged access management tools.
• Certifications such as CISSP or AWS Certified Security.
