Senior Database Administrator Needed for Multi-Region Backup & Recovery

About the role

Keystone Digital is preparing a major app store launch and needs a Database Administrator to align mobile and backend data layers. You will ensure data integrity, performance, and seamless synchronization across services supporting the upcoming release.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement schema changes for PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL to support new mobile features
• Optimize queries and indexes for high‑traffic API endpoints
• Set up automated backup, replication, and disaster‑recovery procedures
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to define data contracts and versioning
• Monitor database health and resolve performance bottlenecks

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL in production
• Strong SQL tuning and NoSQL data modeling expertise
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database migrations
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure Cosmos)
• Knowledge of mobile data sync patterns (GraphQL, REST)
