Key Responsibilities

• Translate content from one language to another, ensuring that the translated content is accurate, culturally relevant, and engaging.
• Review and edit translations to ensure that they meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their translation needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
• Work closely with our team of translators, editors, and project managers to ensure that all translations meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and cultural relevance.
• Develop and maintain glossaries, style guides, and other translation resources to ensure consistency and accuracy in translations.
• Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure that all translations meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in translation and localization.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving translation processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing and sales, to provide translation support and solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with freelance translators and other language service providers.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in translation and localization.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed, such as translating marketing materials or localizing software applications.
• Ensure that all translations are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in translation, preferably in a professional setting.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality translations on time and to the required standards.
• Excellent language skills in the source and target languages, with a strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and idiomatic expressions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex texts and identify potential issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and freelancers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in translation software and tools, such as CAT tools and translation memory.
• Knowledge of industry-specific terminology and concepts, such as legal, medical, or technical translation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
