Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize game features using Unity, focusing on performance, stability, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Collaborate with the game design team to implement engaging gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, and interactive elements.
• Work closely with the art team to integrate assets, animations, and visual effects, ensuring seamless game world rendering.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, readable, and well-documented code, adhering to our coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, using debugging tools and methodologies to identify and fix problems efficiently.
• Contribute to the development of our internal game engine, tools, and frameworks, focusing on features that enhance game development efficiency and productivity.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement to fellow developers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Unity features, technologies, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve our game development processes and products.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of game testing, ensuring that our titles meet the required quality and functionality standards.
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify, reproduce, and resolve bugs, implementing fixes and verifying their effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for our games and development tools, ensuring that knowledge is shared across the team and easily accessible.
• Support the development of game-related tools, scripts, and utilities, automating tasks and workflows where possible.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to the development of our company's technology strategy, identifying areas for innovation and proposing solutions that drive business growth and competitive advantage.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in game development, preferably with Unity, and a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in C#, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Excellent knowledge of Unity, including its features, tools, and best practices for game development.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, art, and QA.
• Ability to work independently, with a high degree of self-motivation and discipline, in a remote or office environment.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
• Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and workflows as required.
• Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience and qualifications.
