Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough financial analysis, including budgeting and forecasting, to provide actionable insights to our clients.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax returns and financial statements.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs, objectives, and challenges, tailoring our services to meet their specific requirements.
• Perform financial audits to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to enhance financial efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting standards.
• Provide expert advice on financial matters, including investment opportunities, funding options, and risk management strategies.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records and databases, utilizing accounting software and technologies.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring best practices are adopted across all financial operations.
• Lead and participate in financial planning and budgeting processes, setting realistic targets and monitoring progress.
• Coordinate with external auditors, ensuring seamless audit processes and addressing any audit findings or recommendations.
• Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations, accounting standards, and best practices, adapting our financial strategies and processes accordingly.
• Develop and deliver financial reports, presentations, and other materials for management, stakeholders, and clients.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure consistency and quality in all financial deliverables.

Requirements

• Professional certification in accounting, such as CPA or CMA, with a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a small business or startup environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero, with excellent skills in Excel and other financial tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and develop strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
• Continuous learning mindset, with a willingness to stay updated on financial regulations, accounting standards, and best practices.
• Experience with financial modeling, financial planning, and budgeting.
