Key Responsibilities
- Editing and retouching photos to enhance their visual appeal and meet client requirements
- Collaborating with designers, art directors, and copywriters to create cohesive and effective visual content
- Utilizing advanced photo editing techniques, including layering, masking, and color correction
- Ensuring all edited photos meet our company's high standards of quality and consistency
- Meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Staying up-to-date with the latest photo editing trends, techniques, and software
- Providing feedback and guidance to junior team members and supporting their professional development
- Conducting quality control checks to ensure all edited photos meet client requirements
- Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of our clients' brands and visual identities
- Creating and maintaining a library of edited photos for future use
- Collaborating with our production team to ensure seamless delivery of edited photos
- Participating in brainstorming sessions to conceptualize and develop new visual content ideas
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Photo Editor, preferably in a creative agency or similar environment
- Advanced proficiency in Photoshop and other photo editing software
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles, color theory, and visual composition
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet high standards of quality
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, art directors, and copywriters
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Proficiency in other design software, such as Illustrator and InDesign, is an asset
- Strong understanding of brand identities and visual storytelling principles
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Photography, or a related field
