Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Shopify themes and templates
• Customize and configure Shopify stores to meet clients' requirements
• Develop bespoke solutions for clients, including custom plugins and integrations
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver cohesive and effective ecommerce solutions
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
• Ensure seamless integration of third-party services, including payment gateways and shipping providers
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify developments and best practices
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for clients and internal teams
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve technical issues
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospective meetings
• Work closely with the design team to develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
• Develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Shopify development, with a strong portfolio of work
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with React, NodeJS, and other relevant technologies
• Excellent understanding of ecommerce principles and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
• Experience with Shopify's API and other third-party integrations
• Strong understanding of web security and performance optimization
