About the role

BlueSky Ventures is building a cross‑platform marketplace that will launch on iOS and Android next quarter. We need an Angular Developer to bridge the mobile UI with our Node.js backend services, ensuring a seamless experience for early adopters. This short‑term contract focuses on aligning the front‑end codebase with upcoming app store requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine the "SkyCart" Angular module to consume REST endpoints for product listings and checkout flows.
• Integrate mobile‑specific UI components using Angular Material and Ionic for responsive design.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to implement token‑based authentication and real‑time order status updates.
• Write unit tests with Jasmine/Karma and achieve 80% coverage before the beta release.
• Optimize bundle size and lazy‑load routes to meet app store performance guidelines.
• Document component usage and handoff notes for the mobile QA team.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Angular 12+ and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.
• Experience using Angular CLI, RxJS, and state management (NgRx or similar).
• Knowledge of responsive design principles for mobile browsers.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Ionic framework or native mobile wrappers.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for front‑end deployments.
