About the role

BrightMart Solutions is modernizing its e‑commerce platform with a microservices architecture. We need an experienced architect to design, implement, and guide the rollout of scalable services that support high‑volume traffic and rapid feature delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define service boundaries, data contracts, and communication patterns
• Design Docker‑based deployment pipelines and Kubernetes orchestration
• Establish best practices for API versioning, security, and observability
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust services
• Mentor developers on microservices principles and cloud‑native patterns

Must-have skills

• Proven experience designing microservices at scale
• Strong Java development background
• Hands‑on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, messaging queues, and CI/CD

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Knowledge of domain‑driven design
