About the role

Silverline Labs is launching a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need a Java Developer who can dive into existing code, identify bottlenecks, and implement robust solutions that scale under load.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current microservice performance and pinpoint latency sources
• Refactor Java codebases using Spring Boot best practices
• Design and implement caching, async processing, and fault‑tolerant patterns
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure reliability
• Collaborate with QA and Ops to monitor improvements in real time

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Java development experience
• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and microservice architecture
• Proven track record of performance tuning in production environments
• Strong debugging and profiling skills (e.g., JProfiler, VisualVM)

Nice to have

• Experience with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Background in CI/CD pipeline automation
