About the role

NovaForge Tech is modernizing its release pipeline for the upcoming "PulseGuard" testing suite. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will lead a test automation uplift aimed at slashing regression risk before each product launch, ensuring stability across our cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable CI/CD workflow in GitHub Actions for automated UI and API test suites.
• Containerize existing test frameworks using Docker and orchestrate them on an EKS cluster.
• Integrate Selenium Grid and Cypress pipelines with AWS CodeBuild to achieve nightly regression runs.
• Develop Terraform modules to provision isolated test environments on demand.
• Set up monitoring and alerting in CloudWatch for test failures and performance thresholds.
• Document the end‑to‑end automation process and hand over to the QA team within the 2‑month milestone.

Must-have skills

• Extensive experience with AWS (EKS, CodeBuild, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline creation (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Hands‑on scripting in Bash/Python for test orchestration.
• Understanding of test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Nice to have

• Experience with chaos engineering for resilience testing.
• Familiarity with Grafana dashboards for test metrics.
