Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve issues, and provide feedback on software functionality and usability
• Perform manual and automated testing, using tools such as Selenium, to identify defects and ensure that software meets the required standards
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts, using programming languages such as Java or Python, to improve testing efficiency and reduce costs
• Analyze test results, identify trends and patterns, and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to ensure that testing is integrated into the development process
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and product management, to ensure that software meets the required standards and customer needs
• Provide training and support to junior team members, and contribute to the development of testing best practices and standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and methodologies, and apply this knowledge to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
• Participate in retrospectives and review meetings to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to the testing process
• Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts, to ensure that testing is well-documented and repeatable
• Collaborate with the development team to develop and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Participate in the development of testing metrics and dashboards to measure testing effectiveness and efficiency
• Provide input and feedback on testing processes and procedures, and contribute to the development of testing standards and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual and automated testing
• Strong knowledge of testing principles, methodologies, and tools, including Selenium and automation frameworks
• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and version control systems, such as Git
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines
• Experience with test management tools, such as TestRail or JIRA, and defect tracking systems, such as Bugzilla
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycles, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms, such as Sauce Labs or TestObject, and containerization tools, such as Docker
• Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB or CSTE, is an asset
