Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale backend systems using Python and popular frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate user interface components and ensure seamless data flow
• Develop and implement database systems, including data modeling, schema design, and query optimization
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and maintainable
• Deploy and manage backend systems on cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Ensure the highest levels of quality, scalability, and performance in all backend systems and applications
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring that all code is maintainable, efficient, and adheres to industry best practices
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of backend systems
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all backend systems and applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development, applying this knowledge to improve our systems and processes
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of backend systems
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, scalability, and performance

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language, with experience in popular frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Experience with database systems, including data modeling, schema design, and query optimization
• Strong understanding of API design principles, including RESTful APIs and API security
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of software development principles, including version control systems such as Git
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption
• Experience with automated testing and deployment scripts, including tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI
